Hi! My name is Carlie.
In some ways, I’m a typical teenager from Kansas who loves basketball, Tik Tok videos, the usual. But in other ways, I have a really unique perspective that I want to share with you. You see, I’m also fighting cancer. In my long stays in the hospital, I’ve had a lot of time to think about the important things in life. Don’t get me wrong – cancer sucks.
But even the darkest cloud can have a silver lining, and the silver lining to a scary illness like this is it really helps you focus on what is important to you. I want to use this website as a place where I can share a bit about my life, and about what I’ve learned as a result of my cancer and my other experiences.
